From Carcassonne to Guinness in one (very thrifty) Ryanair wedge—strap in and check in!

Day -1

Sunshine, sarcasm, and a suitcase that won’t shut—join me on my misadventures from Occitan bliss to Irish drizzle.

Day 1

49 years of marriage, … and the shocking return of my long trousers!

Day 2

From Full Irish breakfasts to mural-lined street walks and sneaky digestifs—our first day in Belfast is a delicious mess you won’t want to miss.

Day 3

From Titanic tales to Bushmills whiskey trails—come aboard for a full day of history, hops, and a happy ending in Guinness

Day 4

From giants and gale-force winds to whiskey, Guinness, and a rope bridge I heroically didn’t cross—Day 4  of our Irish adventure had it all!

Day 5

Donegal in a day: castles, seals, surprise shoe shopping… and the only pub in Ireland with a waiting list for pints.

Day 6

Chasing shamrocks, Guinness, and probably our own sanity, next stop Galway

Day 7

What happens when a night owl goes to bed early, braves Atlantic winds, and still makes it to aperitif on time?

Day 8

Rain-soaked sightseeing, a wine rant, and a cosy night in – Our Galway finale.

Day 9

From locked castles to cocktail-ordering Yanks, follow our misadventures from Galway to Kilkenny where Guinness redeems all sins (except Chilean wine)

Day 10

Next stop: even more castles, pints, and questionable life choices — stay tuned!

Day 11

From bacon-fuelled mornings to Guinness-fuelled nights, here’s how our Irish farewell turned into a comedy of rain, museums, and overpriced pints.
