It all started with an unassuming invoice from my internet provider. At first glance, it looked like the usual “pay us or else” correspondence. But something caught my eye. Nestled among the charges for internet and phone services was a line item for “Web Hosting – 500 GB.”
Wait a minute. 500 GB? That’s not web hosting; that’s a digital mansion! How had I, a mere mortal with no immediate plans to become the next Mark Zuckerberg, ended up with a hosting plan so vast it could store every cat video ever uploaded?
Curiosity got the better of me, and I delved deeper into my account details. Sure enough, there it was: a web hosting service I had apparently signed up for. When? Why? The answers remain elusive. But one thing was clear—if I’m paying for it, I might as well use it.

Easier said than done. My internet provider’s “easy-to-use” web design tools turned out to be about as user-friendly as assembling flat-pack furniture without instructions. Tabs upon tabs of jargon, and a UI that seemed to have been designed by a committee of aliens.
Enter my trusty fallback: WordPress. As an avid user of this versatile platform, I knew WordPress could rescue me from the labyrinth of overly complicated design tools. But how to connect my shiny new 500 GB web space to WordPress? I turned to the one source of knowledge that never judges: AI.
